as PC or video games, 3D virtual worlds, or other 3D environments,
and has personal direct mastery of at least one of either 3D environments
or 3D characters. Extra credit for solid experience in 2D art such
as user interface designs and or web site design.
Responsibilities include overall all art production planning and execution
throughout the product lifecycle, including: defining the product
artistic vision, and working closely with product management and product
marketing to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met, and the product
supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities
• Lead the product's artistic definition, strategy and roadmap
• Deliver art design documents and templates for other art staff
to utilize
• Work with external third parties to source art creation deliverables
• Lead team of artists on scheduling and resource planning
• Working with Engineering, own the art production pipeline
all art assets, including 3D environments, 3D characters,
3D objects, and 2D UI components.
• Work with other departmental leaders in Engineering, Product
Management, etc. to ensure coordinated and synchronized product
delivery.
• Be an expert with respect to the overall product and how the
artistic vision impacts the final experience
Required Experience and Knowledge (PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS AD WITHOUT HAVING THE REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in consumer digital art production
with increasing levels of responsibility, and with the majority
of this time being in REAL-TIME 3D products
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an art or creative director
for interactive real-time 3D products
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Some technical knowledge, with experience in art and interactive
digital product technologies
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without
formal authority

need to have a strong appreciation of the technology platform of the
product and what it is capable of creating from a user experience
perspective, as well as a strong knowledge and mastery of the 3D assets
art production pipeline, which includes various art technology tools
and conversion processes.

art assets through a 3D pipeline
